This was a great show and it was REALLY hot in there! Jerry had to open the second set with Cats Down Under the Stars… “Anyone that sweats like that must be all right”!!

Great set list and small venue. Len Dell’ Amico invited me join him for the show. Afterwards Len wanted to catch-up with Jerry to discuss a video they were working on. We met Jerry at his hotel room, the local a Sheraton I think, and hung out for about an hour. Jerry was such a gracious, interesting, and humble guy.

My first Garcia show and also remember it being hot as well. Sitting on the floor and saying to myself, this is the music I’m going to go out of my way to see again! And I did.

I was there……. I remember inside it being hotter than hell……but the show rocked……no seats just general admission and standing as close to the stage as you could……. I still miss Jerry !
