According to reports, the second set was cut short when a fan jumped on stage and knocked over part of the drum kit. The band finished the song and left the stage.

Surprised that no one has mentioned the mass of idiots who poured over the fence during the show. I’m pretty sure that had something to do with them cutting the show short. Also, the sound system that day seemed inadequate, so many people screaming “Turn it up!”, it was a relatively quiet show.

Hunter opened and was great. It was a perfect summer day. Dear Prudence was magical. So was MITR. And yes, dosed naked dude ran right thru the drums from behind. Dosed dude removed, drums/David set back up. Band played Midnight Moonlight and was off the stage and rolling away in their tour bus before you could say boy howdy!

That show was such a treat. I was really relaxing into the ivy-covered campus and it wasn’t too hot either. Hunter rocked hard….remember Gypsy Parlor Light?
And yes some dosed and naked (surprised that fact has gone unmentioned) crashed right through David and the drum kit from behind. Jerry and John nodded at each other, stepped back a couple paces and kept playing whilst David and the kit was put back together. Immediately thereafter the band tore into Midnight Moonlight and were on their bus rolling out before the crowd new up from almost. I seem to recall Mission in the Rain was very well played and sang straight from the heart.
