By this point in time, I had seen Jerry play several times. The show was good but I had seen better.

I was 12. My older sisters and their crew got stuck with me last minute by my parents who thought they were all going to a double-feature at the drive-in. I say a prayer of gratitude whenever there is a “last minute” situation. Seriously. The scales slipped off my eyes and I saw everything in a whole new, sacred light. Hard to beat that for your first concert. Blessed and Thankful.
