What a cosmic night! It was Friday the 13th and there was a full moon. Toward the end of the second set a shooting star shot over the Greek Theater. The band played Darkstar for the first time in over 100 shows (probably more but I don’t remember the number). The delightful joy and energy from the crowd was palpable. I turned to my partner (not yet my husband) and said “I don’t want to miss another one of these shows” and that was the night I got on the bus!

Oh…I must not forget to mention that I was front row directly in front of Jerry. Space that night was like no other…not before…or after. Dark Star encore really explains what I’m trying to say about what was happening that night…perfectly. If you weren’t there…you don’t know.
