Intimate mellow show with a high energy crowd. I remember a lot of yelling between songs, not so much cheering but “Play this!, play that!”. Late in the second set Jerry seemed to be tiring of it so he just stopped and peered over his glasses, you know the look. The crowd quieted down and a lone voice from the balcony yelled down “play what you want!” Jerry got a big smile and leaned into the mic “Thank ya.” He pushed up his glasses and proceded to play a very heartfelt Ripple.
