The Sons did not make the show. Some story about them being snowed in somewhere. Years later Bill Champlin told me that because of that no-show, they never played for Bill Graham again.

I was near the stage the whole night. I had with me a grocery bag of navel oranges that I had picked in San Jose the day before. I handed them all out and got a lot of smiles in return.

Nice to finally have this show on CDs.
