My first show. GA Floor seats. Everyone stood on the folding chairs. There was a river of heads flowing up & down the isles. The Dead turned toward there amps and tuned in between songs that seemed to last for 5 or 10 minutes. Deep blue & green lights flooded the stage during the tuning. Saw 50 more shows after this from Sept 1981 to March 1990.

A great night of music and adventure. Had told my parents am visiting someone in collage and took there dodge Omni for a road trip Walpole ma to Buffalo is no round the corner ride. We tripped hard here and drove back that night.

We took “people’s express” up there from NYC….the flight was packed with deadheads…the parking lot was insane. We were at the TOP of the arena and it was a pretty steep building…..shakedown lit the fuse and the rest of the show was just plain awesome.
