The house lights inside MSG were kept on for all of set 2. I’ve seen a lot shows there, but have never seen anything like that before or since.

I remember I had broken up with my boyfriend earlier that day. Jerry played Stella Blue bathed in a blue light. I looked up to the high balcony seats (I was in the 3rd row orchestra) and swore I could see my now ex- boyfriend dancing with someone else. Only the beautiful music of the Dead helped me that nite. And going home in that horrible rain storm later washed away the tears. Amazing nite.
