I was there… but there were TWO shows. Even though it was GA, we had to exit after the 1st show & re-enter. We had camped out, 1st in line hours before the show started. It was magical. I had seen the Grateful Dead before, but had rarely even heard any JGB at the time

My first JGB show. Still remember sitting in the chapel pews with my date. We were seniors at Shaker Hts. HS. Unique venue! I was 17yrs old. Jerry w BLACK hair and beard, shit eating grin. Beautiful tone, playing his Travis Bean guitar.
Any recordings out there??!!

First time seeing Garcia. This is the show that opened the door for me.We got pulled over on the way home and the Ontario,Ohio cops confiscated half a bag of Colombian so “You boys won’t get in trouble”.We were pretty sure they went home and smoked it with their girlfriends. We were just glad to not end up in jail.We had fun for sure.
