Warren Haynes To Play Tiger In Central Park; Marco Benevento & Eric Krasno Added As Special Guests

Warren Haynes will once again play Tiger at the upcoming Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration at SummerStage in New York’s Central Park on August 8th.  Haynes recently played Tiger on Jerry’s birthday at Red Rocks marking the guitar’s first public performance since Garcia last played Tiger on July 9th, 1995.  We continue to be extremely grateful to Jim Irsay, Tiger’s steward, for graciously making the guitar available for these special performances!

We’re also delighted to announce Marco Benevento and Eric Krasno have been added as special guests in Central Park for an extended encore without the orchestra.  Like Red Rocks, Central Park’s extended encore will center around Jerry Garcia Band and Grateful Dead favorites with plenty of room for jamming!

Tickets for this performance and the other Symphonic Celebration tour dates are still available on our Events page.  We’re looking forward to celebrating Jerry’s life and legacy with everyone at our tour closer in Central Park!
