This concert was dedicated to those injured after the previous show. The Deer Creek crash and cancel were so fresh in memory that they still did not seem real. The only two shows left on the tour were scheduled for Soldier Field, among my personal worst places to experience a concert. With nothing yet scheduled for the fall, there was almost a sense of desperation, if not despair. This could be the last time, indeed…
