This was my first show. My friends and I were taking guesses at what they would open with. And I called Touch of Grey. They all thought I was crazy. The weather was prefect, a partly cloudy day which was why I picked what I did…

I remember 3 Canadian geese that flew into the stadium towards the band above our heads. But I wasn’t in the show this night, I was in the next 2 nights. I could be wrong it was a long time ago now, but I thought it happened at the 5/26 show during stella blue. I also remember Jerry’s hair had turned white since I saw him the previous year. The weather was perfect… 🙂

I still remember the flock of birds that flew over the stadium, saluting Jerry and the Band. Beautiful. Feeling like the band was the heart and heartbeat of a larger being, the whole stadium of people was one.
