This show is fantastic from top to bottom…this show and Buffalo from the 93 Fall tour are two of my faves from a fun tour

We had too many mushrooms for a snack before the show and Jerry was turning into a skeleton and the audience was an ocean…..I was holding on to a railing afraid that the loops I was caught in would never end.
While Jerry was exploring Forever Young the young deadhead next to me motioned let the little girl she had with her to get a better view – all night long we thought Jerry was causing all of our hallucinations. Flynn found me and was spiraling out of control – we gathered the troops and headed out – I found it strange that they were telling us we couldn’t get back in – thinking in my head The show is over – why would I want to get back in? we walk back to the apartment and four people spent an eternity trying to get the key in the door. We finally get up to the apartment and I look at the clock – it’s 9 pm? Days later we realized we left at intermission. Still one of the greatest shows I’ve ever been to.

One of the best shows of this tour and maybe the longest too. You get everything you want and more.

Jerry simply poured his heart out for this one. It was the first time many folks on the east coast had heard ” Everybody Needs Somebody” and it was excellent version amd quite the number to end the first set.

Set two is as good as it is on paper. I mean Shining Star and The Maker in the same set as Reuben & Cherise and a Wonderful World?

Heaven on your and the vibe in Portland was as kicked back as it could get.

This show should be released for sure.

Happy trails!
