Crazy show… Crystal Dawn? Suzy Ray? from Chandler, NV … are you out there in the world?
Entered the show and it was not a great scene… there was a storm coming through, and therefore, the PA was really low!!! I couldn’t hear one of my favorite songs, PEGGY O… I wasn’t so happy. By the end of the first set it was raining and I was on my back on the 50 yard line… AND FINALLY, i heard the crowd begin to roar… louder and louder…I finally got up and witnesses a type of WAVE I had never seen before…. NOT A NORMAL CROWD WAVE, but a PROPELLER WAVE, and AIRLINE PROPELLER WAVE if you can imagine that had formed… ONLY A DEAD CROWD can make one of those, it was remarkable…
Then as the clouds began to break the band stepped out…. and AS THE FIRST SUN PEEPED through the clouds….
HEEEEERRE COOMMMMMES SUN SHINE!!!!! YES….
All was good again, and the 2nd set was AMAZING.
What a show… I met DOUG IRWIN after the show in the parking lot to boot…
NEVER WILL FORGET IT.
