Thank you for contributing to the collective memory of Jerry Garcia. We’re so happy to see the moments captured by fans have a place in the digital space where Jerry lives on.

I was a student at Humboldt State University. Here I am in CT recalling the show 27 years later. Part of the excitement for me was that this was going to be two consecutive Halloween’s with Jerry since I saw the Dead the previous Halloween in Oakland . It was my only JGB werewolves and previous year my only GD werewolves. It was a super great time. Halloween always seems to offer a certain mystique that lays into the music and vice of the show.

Really fun show. Ken Kesey judged a costume contest at halftime. I would usually leave my friends and get on board with the band in really good seats (can’t do that with 4 people). I was may be 10 rows back, Wavy Gravy (one of the Merry Pranksters if anyone didn’t know) walked right but me on his way towards the stage, I supposed to go backstage. It was one of my cooler experiences. I don’t remember the music much, I was winged on 4 drops and there were no breakouts or raritys

The big comeback show! After Jer Bear almost died and took a hiatus we were all so pumped to see him so full of energy and he was happy to see us too! I will never forget the feeling I had before, during, and after this show! Magic!
