I wasn’t there, but I was on the train with half of the crowd wondering where all of the hippies were going. I got off a few stops later to go to Roseland to see Red Hot Chili Peppers with opening acts Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam. What an amazing night for music in NYC.

I sure was at this show with my friend Cathy (rip). Until this time, the Jerry shows I had seen were all in smaller theaters. I didn’t go when the JGB came around in 1989, because I wasn’t wild about having to go to big arenas to see the JGB. I did hear that those shows were great and decided to give in in 1991. That was a good decision. It was a spiritually uplifting show. I can’t wait to hear the new release.
