Thank you for contributing to the collective memory of Jerry Garcia. We’re so happy to see the moments captured by fans have a place in the digital space where Jerry lives on.

My first show, my first tab. Truly a life changing experience.
I remember it was a particularly chilly Chicago day. Everyone was wearing those big puffy Guatemalan sweaters. We had tickets down on the field and for fun, I would dance through the crowd towards the stage just lightly bumping into all the dancing heads and I felt like I was tumbling around in a box of pillows.
The crowd response when Shakedown Street started was tremendous, and the energetic roller coaster ride of Terrapin Station stands out in my memory.
Also, the fireworks after the show were freaking amazing!

The whole dynamic of Bruce in tunes like Shakedown, really added a flavor to the band that was so unique. This was the first of all of the Soldier Field shows I saw. My jaw hit the floor at the end of Shakedown Street!! The exchanges and Jerry looking like a kid in the candy store with Bruce was truly amazing.

One of the last truly powerful shows. Jerry’s solo out of Hell in a Bucket is fantastic.
