I was blessed and lucky to see 50 Grateful Dead shows and this was the most fun show that I attended. The weather was chilly and rainy and while 6/16/91 had the better weather (and was also very good) this night was just better.

Legendary and rightly so. 15 minute Eyes to open, Cassady and Loose Lucy make the first set more like a second set. ,Myriad Dark Star teases throughout, the playfulness of Bruce Hornsby (with Jerry’s encouragement), the Jerry / Bob back and forth IMO refreshing and powerful post-Brent, mezmerizing video graphic display, and to top it all a New Speedway Boogie that knocked my socks off…

My only Might as Well and my only Speedway! Got so lost after the show!!! Spun. Lost my birks in the stadium. Threw them in a pile of birks and after the show the pile was gone. had no shoes until Chicago thanks to Donnie!
Little Feat put on a good show too!
RAINED like crazy the night before!!! the floor was one big slip n slide (thank God it was before cel phones)
