Lovely show with an all-star, all-acoustic lineup.
The show started out with a short solo set by Brent Mydland, playing a big white grand piano. (Really nice.) Eventually he’s joined by Bobby Weir for a couple of songs, then Brent leaves and Bobby plays a few more alone.
Curtain drops, then when it raises again it’s Jorma and Jack. Stunning.
Curtain drops again and then raises on the Garcia acoustic band, featuring David Nelson, Sandy Rothman and John Kahn.
Then the capper: Curtain drops and raises again, this time with Garcia, Weir, Mydland and Kahn for Blackbird and Let the Good Times Roll.
Dazzling, one-of-a-kind show. Great venue too. Saw Grace Slick in the lobby.
