The Black Peter was cool.

This was my first show. Got out of the car in the lot and someone said “Welcome Home”. Feel Like A Stranger seemed like an appropriate opener, considering I was new to this whole scene. It sprinkled when they were singing “roll away the dew” and I remember thinking (not for the last time) “Wow, they can control the weather”. During Black Peter, I found myself feeling great empathy for Jerry, who was himself, laying in his bed and dying, or so it sounded, and I even let out a rather loud “awww” as one does when something is just precious or too cute for words. There was an “Aha” moment for me during Touch of Gray. That feeling of camaraderie or perhaps more clearly, “we’re in this together and it’s going to be okay” moment.
