Great show, My only regret is that I didn’t see the early show and missed the ‘Mission In The Rain’

The Late Show set is a monster. Vintage Jerry. Masterpiece & Russian Lullaby contain some of the highest examples of why some Heads preferred a Jerry show to a Dead show. It’s easy to see how Paint My Masterpiece became a staple and one of the best Dead covers. When Jerry sings…” as I ran on a hillside, following a pack of wild geese”…, the unbridled joy is palpable. This gem of a show suffers from being sandwiched between 2.28.80 & 3.1.80. Hopefully someday it’ll be given its due.
