my first jgb show. we saw some magic that night… heck, any night with garcia was magic.

At the end of the show Inwas watching the crew breakdown and Robert Parrish gave me a red rose. He asked if I was going to tve Boston Garden Show on 5/12/1980. I said yes I had my ticket already! He invited me to come down early and meet the band. I skipped work and my best friend skipped school and we got into the Garden and hung out with the crew. It was awesome!!

I was able to get to the front row and Jerry sang Dear Prudence to me. I was 19 years old and he didn’t take his eyes off me through the entire song. It was an experience I will never forget!! Love you and miss you Jerry!!
