Eighteen years young, I trucked my ’67 ford stepside pick-up from Santa Cruz via SF where I picked-upmy buddy, his two friends, and two NY girls who were in the Bay-area for the Oakland shows. We were at Red Rocks the day & night prior. I picked-up backstage passes intended for the British band Slade at the will-call window & stood on stage behind the drums for half the show. Bill Walton was also there. I’ll write more when time allows ‘cause there quite a story. Also attended the following evening’s show 8-14-79 after spending the night under mile-high stadium. I’ll return soon with story and I’m interested in locating more photos of the show. Possibly one with a long-haired kid standing behind ‘em as they played.
