I was 14 years old, i went to a lot of other bands’ concerts back then, and was listening to a lot of dead at the time,so i was really excited to see Garcia band. My fourteen year olds minds recollection of the show was that it was short , sleepy and sloppy.
Garcia had very short hair and a couple weeks of stubble, and I was shocked at his appearance and thought he was one of the ugliest people i had ever seen in my life.
Now, if I had seen this show a few years later, I would probably had a much more favorable opinion, hehe.
