The drummer with Jerry and Merl this day was Eddie Moore, Merl’s cousin. I attended. A rush moment was a Southern Pacific freight train rolling south? down the tracks not far behind the stage, alongside the park, I think in fact during “Mystery Train”!

My wife, Beth, and I attended this show which fell on the 2nd anniversary of our first date. We always remembered the day and show fondly – it was a glorious San Mateo Penninsula day, the concert was well attended but not manic and the bands – The Rowan Brothers, JGB and Kingfish were all in top form. They played until dusk and everyone left with a smile on their faces. Idyllic. Beth and I went to dinner and then watched Fred & Ginger at the local art theatre. Today, without exaggeration, Beth told me that this was her all time favorite concert. [My heart melted, yet again]. Peace & Light to All.

Small venue but cool’ Outdoors, seems like jerry played more songs than that. Kinda hard to remember all the songs but good show and The Rowan Bros. too.
