My cousin and his two buddies came out to California from Texas in 73 they shanked up at my folks place. I was 18 just graduated from high school. They wanted me to come with them to see Jerry but I was only 18 and Crabshaw Corners was a 21 older venue. Well I got in and experienced a special evening I’ll always remember !

I was there for my 23rd birthday. I remember people expecting a Greatful Dead show. I knew full well it was gonna be Bluegrass.
