My first GD show! 2 of my friends and I drove down from the SFV. Tickets were $5.50 each, but we realized we only had about $7 between all 3 of us. As we were milling about on Hollywood Blvd, a spaced out guy approaches and says one of us reminds him of his deceased brother. He then gives us enough money for all 3 of us to get in!!! I knew right then I was going to love this band!! Great show!!!

The Rowan Brothers proved they were destined to be the Beatles of the ’70s. I don’t know what happened to that dynamic, but they were spot on howling to wake the Dead. Vocals had that Everly Brothers-Beatles dynamic that night. I’d love to hear the recording of their performance.
