Corky’s first mescaline trip, pulled over on the New Jersey Turnpike. Bonneville convertible dayglo Special Rabbit Car. Like a trooper showing the Trooper his drums on the side of the road. Purple micro bus loaded with the crew and a half pound of weed spilled out to roll joints for the ride back to C’ville, eyeballs popping and praying no one would have to go his bail. Not to worry, we met up with him at the next rest stop.
