It is speculated that, following the cancellation of a Doors concert that same month, this show was also called off at the last minute. It was allegedly scheduled to be a festival featuring the Grateful Dead, Chicago, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, and some local groups. The reason for the cancellation is still debated to this day.
