Various band members were late arrivals so Jerry and Bobby played Deep Elem Blues and Silver Threads and Golden Needles with Dave Torbert on Harp prior to the NRPS set.

It should also be noted for context that this is the night before the Kent State shootings. The student protests made for a very active scene at the time. The "sloping lawn behind the administration building" is actually called "Foss Hill.The stage was at the bottom of Foss Hill.

For trivia buffs, Wesleyan University is also the alma mater of John Perry Barlow, who was class president in '69.
