I was 16 years old! My older friends that were all driving said jump in the van n come for the greatest weekend ever! N I did! N it was the best week ever! Summertime upstate NY. I love the Dead before and even more after! Loved them everywhere they played! Yeah Jerry Garcia! Love you always n ever!

I was also 15. I didn’t really ‘get’ the Dead until 2 years later, but Woodstock was my first GD show!
