The actual venue was the IDES Hall, not IDBS. The IDES Society (Sociedade Da Irmindade do Divino Espirito Santo) was a Portugese American Fraternal Benefit Society. There were numerous IDES halls around the Bay Area, and they were often available for rental for local rock shows. As a matter of fact, this one still is (http://pescaderoides.org/home.html)
