“The Guys” – Limited Edition Etching Now Available

Commemorating Jerry’s 70th year, we are offering this etching created from an original ink drawing made in the 1990’s when the Grateful Dead consisted of Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, Vince Welnick, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart.  The band members are represented in swift linear style revealing the essential character of each subject.

The original drawing has been rendered into an etching with aquatint that retains all the linear and tonal nuances of the original work. This is the only known representation by Jerry of the members of the band, together on one page in a spontaneous group portrait.  Materials used in the production of the etching are environmentally responsible.

This special edition comprises only 50 numbered prints. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Trixie Garcia. The first ten prints will be available at an introductory price of $250.  Prices will rise as the edition is sold out.
