My son, Quentin and I attended the show. We lived in Tucson and were spending that weekend in the city. We were told of the show that afternoon by the concierge at our hotel. She told us that the show was sold out, but that we should check with the Tower Records store on Powell@ Union Square because sometimes last minute tickets pop up. The dude at Tower laughed when I asked about tickets. We began to walk towards the escalator when he called out, hey man come back. He then told us that he was shocked to see that 2 tickets just appeared, front row on the balcony. The band must have just released them…yahoo…A 16 boy and his Pop had a great time, something we will always remember

This was a great day for Bay Area Deadheads as there were two shows! What’s better than one show? TWO. πŸ˜‰

During the day Bob Weir debuted his new band Ratdog with an Earth Day performance at the Presidio. And then many of us headed across town to take in the Garcia Band at Church a.k.a. The Warfield.
A beautiful two-show Earth Day celebration by the Bay!

Thank you, Jerry!
