This was my first time I saw Garcia! I was 13 years old! Did not see the Dead until the Meadowlands 78. My friend and I ended up in the front row center!! Unless she was backstage singing (which she wasn’t) Maria Muldaur was not there. It was only Donna as I could reach out and touch her feet, which I remember vividly to this day. Phenomenal show!

I was there and have photo’s; Jerry played the Wolf and Kahn had a Precision Bass. Donna wore plaid.
