I’ve now lived in Oregon for over 45 years. This was the hottest day of those entire 45 years. Didn’t seem to effect the ambiance of the concert, though. At one point, Bob Weir even said, every other time we’ve been in Oregon it rained. Today, it’s too damn hot! And, he was right. Could see them constantly tuning their instruments. And, I would imagine that those strings were hot against their fingers.

But, the music was great. The Dark Star > jam > El Paso was a particular highlight for me. Went to the show with the girl that has become my wife and life partner for 46 years. What a glorious day that was.

I’ve seen the movie made at the concert and I’ve gotten CDs of it. The CDs still get played to this day.
