My first Dead show, in fact my first concert. I was a junior in high school seeing the Grateful Dead on Halloween night in the early 70’s. Doesn’t get any better than that.
It was an excellent show. New Riders opened (with Jerry on pedal steel). Overall, the whole show must have been over 5 hours long. Incredible version of Dark Star.
Set 2 (minus the encore) is on Dick’s Picks, volume 2. Set 1 and the encore can be found on archive.org
