The Broadway run was originally captured to two-track digital audio tapes with a direct feed from the soundboard, representing the first DAT soundboard recordings in the Grateful Dead archives. The recordings have been meticulously restored and mastered for release using the best analog and digital equipment available.  While certain sonic imperfections remain, rest assured these vibrant performances transcend any inherent imperfections.  Listen comfortably with our promise that every effort was made to produce these performances for release in a manner which honors the spirit of its creation.
